Just come along and enjoy the company, the speakers, have time to be yourself and become a member of the largest women's organisation in the U.K.

James Dean Bradfield Concert On Saturday 14th Oct 2006, Newbridge Memo had the privilege of paying host to the great James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers. The former Barman at The Memo added the Memorial Hall to his UK solo tour as a gesture to raise the profile of the Restoration project. And we couldn't have asked for more from the man.

Mementoes of Memo wanted

     

ONE of Gwent's oldest miners' institutes is asking local people to dig out old photographs and mementoes of the building. The Newbridge Institute and Memorial Hall - known as the Memo - wants old photos to help them build up a picture of its social history. They hope to produce an exhibition in the Memo once it has been refurbished.
